About Us

We are Alejandra and Jesús, a couple made up of a Designer and a Jeweler, and just as our souls and hearts have merged, so have our professions. At TEOKARI we turn our dreams into creations; hence our slogan “Creations with Spirit”.

TEOKARI

TEOKARI means “The Dream of Our Ancestors”, a name that was revealed to us in the depths of the Mexican desert in a very special ceremony of the Wixarixa tradition, at which time we realized the enormous power that merging our abilities had to fulfill our mission on this plane, since then Spiritual work has been part of our inspiration.

Alejandra

Born in Mexico City, where our passion for art has its roots.

Since the beginning we have experimented with various artistic techniques.

Alejandra

Alejandra always had a passion for art, experimenting with various painting, illustration and photography techniques. She studied Graphic Design and Advertising and began doing digital illustration, which she now uses on t-shirts and various canvases. She then learned to make jewelry, being Jesús' first student, and found a new way to express her ideas.

Jesus

Jesús discovered his passion for jewelry at an early age, inspired by his travels and the different jewelers he met along the way. He developed various techniques on his own until he decided to formally attend the School of Fine Arts to study Jewelry and Goldsmithing. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge and developing as a teacher not only in our workshop, but also at the Allende Institute, a renowned school of Arts in San Miguel de Allende and Mexico.

We love jewelry because they are small works of art that always accompany their owners in special moments and beyond providing elegance and exclusivity to those who wear them, jewelry becomes an amulet that holds emotions, sensations, intentions, feelings and manages to transcend generations.

Who we are

Creating is a fundamental part of balance and happiness in our lives. In San Miguel de Allende, we found the perfect place to expand as artists, share our knowledge and start our family.

When we develop our creative process we often work together, integrating ideas, processes, procedures and experiments, which each time results in unique pieces, handcrafted, with a special soul, which makes our jewelry even more exclusive, since each millimeter is developed in a meticulously thought-out procedure and projects our intention.
